About Köyceğiz
Köyceğiz is a quiet, green town on the northern shore of the large lake of the same name. The lake connects to the sea via the Dalyan channel, and its shores are of interest for birdwatching. The area is known for its rare forests of Oriental sweetgum trees. The Sultaniye hot springs on the lake's south-western shore can be visited by boat or by road.
