About Çavuşin

Çavuşin is a small Cappadocian village between Göreme and Avanos, known for its old rock settlement carved into the hillside. The Church of St John the Baptist above the village is considered one of the region's early rock churches, and wandering among the abandoned cave houses is a popular walk. Paşabağları, Love Valley and the Red and Rose Valleys are close to the village and can be reached on walking trails that start here.
