About Karpaz (Karpas)
Karpaz (Karpas) is a sparsely populated peninsula reaching out to sea in the north-east of Northern Cyprus, with largely unspoilt nature. Golden Beach, beyond the village of Dipkarpaz, is known for its wide sand dunes and clear water, and the wild donkeys roaming the peninsula are a favourite with visitors. The Apostolos Andreas Monastery near the tip of the peninsula is the most visited site in the area.
The journey to Karpaz is a long drive, so booking your return transfer at the same time as your arrival saves you from looking for transport in the remote parts of the peninsula.
