About 43 km · 45 min. Fixed price, professional driver, meet & greet and payment in the vehicle.
Taksim is about 43 km from Istanbul Airport (IST), around 45 min by car. A private DriveOnPort transfer costs from €55 per vehicle one way (Economy, up to 3 passengers); the VIP Sprinter for up to 16 passengers costs €90. Prices are fixed and paid in the vehicle. Taksim can also be reached from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW): about 41 km, from €55.
Prices are per vehicle, not per person. Round trips are charged for each direction.

The return trip from Taksim to Istanbul Airport has the same fixed price and takes about 45 min. Leave at least 2 h 45 min before a domestic flight and 3 h 45 min before an international one. Add the return in the booking form – a round trip with the most affordable vehicle costs €110.
Taksim is one of Istanbul's most recognisable squares, set in the heart of the Beyoğlu district on the European side. The Republic Monument, neighbouring Gezi Park and İstiklal Avenue, which runs from the square towards Tünel, are its landmarks. With the nostalgic tram, historic arcades, cafés, shops and nightlife along İstiklal, the area stays busy day and night, and hotels of every category are found in the surrounding streets.
İstiklal Avenue is pedestrianised, so vehicles cannot always reach hotels on the avenue or in its side streets; in that case your driver drops you at the closest accessible point. For the return to Istanbul Airport, keep in mind that city traffic around Taksim can be heavy: add your flight number to the booking and choose a pickup time with a realistic margin.
The drive from Istanbul Airport begins on wide, relatively quiet motorways through the forests north of the city. The pace changes once the built-up districts start: the final stretch into Beyoğlu, usually via Kağıthane, is where most of the journey time is won or lost.
Weekday evening rush hour is the slowest period, Friday evenings are often the worst of the week, and even light rain noticeably thickens traffic across Istanbul. On 1 May and on New Year's Eve, access to Taksim Square itself is usually restricted. The square is largely pedestrian, with through traffic running in tunnels beneath it, so drop-offs tend to happen on Tarlabaşı Boulevard, Cumhuriyet Avenue or a side street near your hotel. Towards Cihangir and Galata the lanes are steep, narrow and often cobbled, and a suitcase with sturdy wheels makes those last metres easier. For your flight home, treat the city section as the unpredictable part and set off early.
