About Kalkan
Kalkan is a former fishing and trading harbour known for its whitewashed stone houses and narrow, bougainvillea-draped lanes. The town is built on slopes running down to the sea and is surrounded by sea-view villas with pools. Patara, with its long sandy beach and ancient city, is close by, as is Kaputaş Beach between Kalkan and Kaş. Kalkan can be reached from Dalaman, and transfers are also available from Antalya Airport.
