Tekirova lies south of Kemer within Beydağları Coastal National Park and is surrounded by pine forest. Right next to it is the ancient city of Phaselis, the area's best-known historic site, with its three harbours and ruins reaching down to the sea. The lower station of the cable car up Tahtalı Mountain is also near Tekirova.
