About Lara
Lara lies east of Antalya city centre and is one of the coastal areas closest to the airport. It is known for the long, fine-sand Lara Beach, lined with large resort hotels, several of them recognisable by their themed architecture. The Lower Düden Waterfall, where the Düden River plunges from the cliffs straight into the sea, is located here, and in summer the Sandland sand sculpture exhibition is one of Lara's popular sights.
